Terri has nearly 30 years of clinical experience in mental health. After retiring from the LHSC outpatient psychiatry Dialectical Behaviour Therapy team (DBT) in 2022, she joined Rachel Oegema in the Wise Mind Counselling Collective.

Terri is passionate about matters of the heart, people and their stories, and continues to be inspired by the power of the human spirit. From personal and professional experience, Terri recognizes that human beings have a profound ability to, not only overcome difficult pasts, but to thrive.

Terri’s preferred approach is DBT therapy; an evidence-based approach to building a life worth living. She can help you to identify your emotional triggers and associated responses and teach you strategies to manage your emotions, thrive in relationships and cope with distress.
