I am a Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience. I bring a relaxed, non-judgmental and compassionate approach that creates an emotionally safe place to heal, grow and learn about yourself. I work with individuals and couples, 12 years and older.

Before I began work in private practice, I worked for many years in hospital settings around issues of grief and loss, chronic illness, mental health and death and dying. I also worked in outpatient psychiatry in the PTSD program and the DBT (Dialectical Behavioral therapy) program. I am an AASECT certified sex therapist, trauma therapist and couples’ therapist. I also provide case consultation for clinicians seeking support in their work.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Calvin University (Grand Rapids, Michigan) and my Master’s of Social Work at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan). I have a post graduate certificate from the University of Michigan in Sexual Health and Sex Therapy.
